Beekeepers

The Bee Ministry nurtures and cares for the St. John's hives in the Bride's Garden.  This ministry is an outward sign of our parish commitment to be stewards of God's creation. Our bees pollinate our plants and flowers including the Open Hands Garden and the gardens of our neighbors. This is a developing ministry.

Grounds Committee

Tending the Garden/Grounds of St. John’s

Many hands make light work. Marie Donigan is organizing volunteers to care for the grounds in all parts of our campus. Help is needed to move plants, edge and mulch. There are opportunities to work with others, and there are opportunities to adopt a section of the grounds to tend throughout the summer. The time depends on what you can give and your interest. Please contact Marie at (248) 505-2195.
